Inspiration 6.7

While we're on the topic of flea market paintings, I love the wall-to-wall coverage shown here. What I'm not loving is all of the orange -- it's just not my color. I do think its a nice, buttery shade of it for those of you who love it.

By the way, LOVED all of the great responses to the question below about whether or not I should buy the painting. Here's the new plan. I'll go to Paris and shop away, upon returning I'll purchase the painting on three conditions:
  • It's still available
  • I didn't find a better replacement in France
  • I am not completely bankrupt upon my return
I'm thinking that if it meets all three conditions, it will feel like kismet.

Want: Vintage Portrait

Sooo, I really want to buy the vintage painting above, so I can replicate one of my favorite looks from the last issue of Lonny (the awesome Arteriors lamp is on my wish list)...but I leave for Paris in 10 days and am broker than broke. The painting is only $60. But I'm really, really broke.

So, what say you, blogiverse? Yay or Nay? (P.S. If I decide not to buy, I will update the post with a link, in the hopes that it will end up with one of you guys.)
